Mark 2:13-17 – Jesus healed many people physically. In this passage He also called Levi (Matthew) to follow Him and become spiritually whole too.

Judges 16:15-22. Samson’s pride led to his fall. After Delilah cut his hair, God left him and he lost his strength. But, as verse 22 says God caused his hair to grow again, and he regained his strength, even after his great fall.
Jesus calls us to be Laborers for Him in many things, particularly in leading others to Him. (Being Fishers of Men). Mark 1:16-20
Deuteronomy 33 – Moses’ gives his final blessing on the people of the nation of Israel. Good thoughts for the new year.
We, as Christians, and we as the Church of Jesus Christ are called to punch holes in the darkness around us by following the Holy Spirit and shining Christ’s light through our good works. Matthew 5:14-16
The Dynamic Duo are Poor in Spirit (Matthew 5:3) and the Power of God. We have no real power and must acknowledge that. But God has infinite power and He will provide what we need to do His Kingdom work.
Luke 19:11-27. Jesus gave us responsibilities to do here on earth, and He expects us to fulfill them.
Ichabod means the glory of God has left this place. Ebenezer means the Lord has helped us to reach this point. How did Israel go from the first to the second?
We, as people, are prone to wander from our God. We need help to prevent that.
Deuteronomy 26:1-11. We are told to present our firstfruits to God. Giving our best, the way Jesus did.
