In addition to the Bible Studies, the youth at Lanes get involved with music, helping others, and having fun at activities at the local elementary school and other places.
Summer Camp
Each summer a group of adults and youth from the area go to the TAG (Tennessee-Alabama-Georgia) Youth Camp in the mountains near Lynchburg, Tennessee. (https://www.facebook.com/groups/tagyouthcamp) It’s said the adults enjoy it as much as the kids, since the activities aren’t just for the youth – with Bible classes and recreation (a bit of tourist stuff too) for all ages.
Another summer camp opportunity is at Camp Hillview Youth Camp near Collins, GA (between Claxton and Metter). It’s also a great place to spend time together getting closer to God and to each other, while having a great time. Many of the churches in the area send groups to one of the two weeks of summer camp held at Camp Hillview each summer.
