We can’t work our way into Heaven, no matter how hard we try. We can only be saved through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We, as people, are prone to wander from our God. We need help to prevent that.
Jesus often referred to Himself as the Son of Man. He was glad to identify Himself with His children. And only because He is the Son of Man, are we able to be saved.
Jesus died on the cross, was buried in the tomb, and in three days rose from the dead. The world has changed forever because of that. Hallelujah!
The cup Jesus was given was written about and Jesus also prayed to the Father in Gethsemane that it would be taken away. The cup given him to drink was filled with the wrath of God, and Jesus drank it in our place for He lived a sinless life here on earth.
Deuteronomy 26:1-11. We are told to present our firstfruits to God. Giving our best, the way Jesus did.
What does that he mean when the Apostle Paul writes this? Galatians 2:20. It’s actually very good.
Moses sent 12 men to spy out the land of Canaan for the Israelites. Only two, Joshua and Caleb, had faith to say with the Lord they could take the land. Caleb was described as having a different spirit than the others – a faithful and courageous spirit. Numbers 14:20-24
We certainly need the Holy Spirit every day to guide us in the right direction. Exodus 19:10-11
